Very first piece I scooped was an edition of The Tickle because @InWarhol are amazing assets to the NFT community on tezos + cool cover art

When I saw the incomparable @tz1d67UPfqEsFSn2MuyAy2bVe8wbRCmwd1Ln had a piece that would fit the budget it was a no-brainer

Not being as confident a collector on fxhash I headed there early on in my collecting to see what I could get while I still had plenty of budget remaining

This was fun because I mostly collected what jumped out at me irrespective of who I knew, and followers

First piece on fxhash that jumped out at me was the "Circle Study" project that was still minting out from @tz1Qxc19rPrXMaRHMKCqndP9ASaDkqhc3R67

Loved the juxtaposition of light & dark with soft pastel squares and the "pattern with meaning" in @tz1i9tsuekNFp8VsAu6xEyet16yb7t9b4PZP's "Day by Day"

I thought this edition from @tz1iChpqVTi68JTcbpmmVnD9yfXxe2UxTkZL's "Reflections" project paired well with the dark backgrounded edition I had just collected

I simply can't resist a good forest green piece so this edition of "citylines" from @tz1Rz6mLGLBVH1UoMYwmQbrCBqXL9SXARfomoffering me some #NFTNYC nostalgia had to go in the collection

Returning to the familiar at this point I pivoted back to objkt and started browsing the mints & items collected by those who'd collected my recent 1 tez OE

@tz2UYLKTisJDAqAXTCn2u3EzMDHYMBr9JVb5 had a photography manipulation with built in objkt nostalgia so this #objkt4objkt mint was an instascoop

Doing the collecting on my new AI account I was overdue to add some AI work to the collection.

I love the whimsy of "Sunday in Paris" from @Elegit2021

One of the beautiful things about the tezos NFT scene is the willingness to simply share art in events like #OBJKT4OBJKT back in the day

Means there's still goodies around from amazing artists like @tz1TtZmtxhiWc8Nv6AtC1YjVCtJoFjv4nTqL

A silver lining of this price challenge has been to clean up some heinously low relisted pieces and none more true than this awesome owl collected from @Ambi_eth with @ExilesProject22

Honestly, it's so good I'm going to scoop another right now

Admittedly I did pick up a few pieces that I already owned on my main account simply because they're just too good to still be available for so low!

That was true for "Post & Beam" from @tz1SJEeZviPzRSzHtZtPJwndZNk61PvdFfJD

I don't know if it's possible to already have nostalgia for early AI pieces but this one from '21 fits the bill

I've followed @Glitched_David for a long time now and there's just something about their work that feels timeless.

Had to get at least 1 glitch in the collection!

Another artist & piece I picked up more from was the very talented @dg_submissions

Their Entities collection is a fun fractionalization of an AI piece into 8 parts that was another #OBJKT4OBJKT offering

This next one's particularly interesting as a sort of precursor to all the stable diffusion work you see these days.

Something about @ganscaper's use of the natural world transports me, not to mention the soundscapes

What would any good curation be without some pixel art?

One of my favorite in this department are the delightful creations of @spacefishNFT and obviously cats

From the fun to the funny, @tz2CMCvNGZdgwjK1bZkVjFFpW7FrxnuUuyFhtook a running gag of @328_lad's propensity for the 🥦 emoji and made a giftably priced AI piece.

Real friends make sure friends get enough fiber

Speaking of fiber, when you think fiber arts in NFTs you had better think of @jenjustjen3

The hugamonster is destined to be an enduring icon in the web3 space

As for people who should be icons in the space, I'd include @malsheep56 on that list

For all they do for the Teia Community and for an amazing range of photographic abilities

The next piece I picked up was this gratitude piece from @paraxenod who made these birds after hitting 5k followers.

Gratitude pieces are wonderful ways to your collectors and are another small way that #tezos makes it possible

Time to get meta for a moment with an article minted on objkt from the hilarious & insightful @aaronvick

Made super accessible, this is a fun read in NFT form on this AI thing everyone seems to be into these days 🙄😆

From one AI/market commentary piece to another, this work from @shane_gilreath feels like it's going to be relevant for some time.

AP has always struck me as someone willing to try new things with their photography including drops on fxhash

Everything's better on #tezos and meme coins are no different. With the emergence of @TezosPepe and the uses behind it I knew I had to get a Pepe piece in the collection

Fortunately @DannyG1979 had this pixel guy for a steal

I've never seen anything like posting an entire twitter space on-chain but leave it to @tz1YbJAyfmSwqLbLwCrUTfEMeLgCncM9jj3z to make a statement! (mp3 attached in listing)

Everyone I know was so dismayed about the Sotheby's glitch fiasco so owning this piece feels like a piece of protest history

With commentary on the royalties crisis over on ETH this was an easy scoop for the #5tezcollection
