There and Then - Page 1 - The Beginning

By notes from outside

You open your eyes. Or, are they really open? You're still in darkness. Your eyes still feel closed. But did they ever really feel open? You feel trapped. Like the walls are closing in on you. You've never had a whole lot of room, but at least enough space to move a little. Now the walls are holding on to you tightly. It feels as if you're being pushed. Or pulled? You're not even sure where's up and where's down, nor which direction you are moving, just that you are. Slowly. Very slowly. And what are those sounds? They are damper than usual, but also louder somehow. Almost as loud as that one time, in one of your earliest memories, when it was so loud everything around you seemed to shake. But these sounds right now are less rhythmical.

You are definitely moving, you are sure of that now, and the space around you is getting tighter and tighter. You feel the urge to try to turn around, but you still aren't sure in which direction you are even moving, just that if you don't turn around now you might not be able to later.

Do you try to turn around?
