The program, uses a combination of 2-4 items selected from a database of 115 AI-generated images (starting from a single real photograph passed through the Stable Diffusion img2img tool), to create a final image. The selection process is determined by a random seed, allowing for a high degree of variability in the final composition. The program also uses different image masks to compose the selected images in the the final output.

To enhance the final image and produce a printable resolution, a code generated grain and a texture are applied over the final result. This is done to add a level of depth and realism to the image and to ensure that it looks its best when printed. It is worth noting that the program uses 512x512 px source images, which are then processed and upscaled to produce the final composition.

By pressing the "s" key, is possible download an high-resolution PNG file of the current composition. The file will be at the size of 5 times the screen resolution, making it suitable for printing. With this feature, the collectors of the digital token can easily turn their digital art into a tangible piece that can be enjoyed in the physical world.

"SYNTHETIC FRAGMENTS" is an exciting example of how AI can be utilized in the art world to generate new forms of expression and push the boundaries of what is possible. It is a program that showcases the potential of AI to inspire human creativity and generate unique and thought-provoking imagery. It is a project that encourages experimentation and allows the artists to explore new dimensions in the creation of art.
