Asemic writing is a form of abstract writing that is inspired by traditional calligraphy and handwriting. In this tutorial, we will create Asemic writing by starting from the 10_print algorithm from the previous article and modify it using bezier curves instead of lines to create something that resembles handwriting.

Intro to vanilla javascript. Will start with some basics; then quickly evolve deeper and deeper and add more tech; that is needed; like window resizing, saving images. The tech side, you can ignore as a starter, since you want to draw right? When I started with creative coding, back in 1988. I remember one of my teachers gave us a template, that handled like the saving of images, so we could go creative next. Why vanilla javascript? small size in code, make your own 'unique' creative routines. Work in progress - First some basic lessons; scroll down to '10' for the first templates!

The biggest month in fx(hash) history calls for the biggest list this curation project will likely ever see. Over 3600 projects distilled down to the 121 best abstract projects from December 2021 in four parts.
This project is an animated painting inspired by the long tradition of hanami (flower viewing) The blossoming tree animations have unique leaves and flowers in every token. But at the same time each one has infinite variations because the tree grows every time you play it in different ways. You can also change the layout and resolution as desired or download a high-res snapshot. The flowers are also interactive. I hope you enjoy the experience.

A continuation of a series I started in 2022. Is there anything better than being a fan "before they were cool?" Being ahead of the curve takes patience, but it can be rewarding in many ways! Most, but not all, works I've highlighted in this article are owned by myself. I strongly recommend that you take a deep look at each one of these artists if you haven't already.
Abstract Moulin Rouge Abstract is one of the most popular art styles. Moulin Rouge also has one of the most enduring lighting styles. I combined these two great things and the result surprised me
In this article, I explore the relationship between the "proportion of unique minters" and the secondary sales volume.

Cellular automata are fascinating. They are systems of rules that determine the behavior of cells on a grid. The cell behavior or lifecycle can be determined in variety of ways, generally by evaluating any given cell's neighborhood, which can be as simple as a one dimensional (single row on a grid), two dimensional (cells around the given cell on the two dimension grid), three dimensional and so on setups, with various approaches to working with states, and other attributes of the system of cells. The cells evolve over time based on the given rule sets, which creates a variety of patterns and behaviors, and is a perfect example for emergence. In this article we will look at building a simple one dimensional automata and how it has been used for the 'Automatic' project.

"How much should I charge for my art?" is probably the question artists - both experienced and new - ask the most frequently when they first enter into the NFT space. The value of art may be in the eye of the beholder, but the supply structures of the NFT projects can actually be understood in a fairly straightforward way. What does this mean for the art worlds and the Web3 space as a whole?

Now once again an article. Today for the FxStricher. I got the idea from a stick figure at work. I found the idea good and implemented it. Easy is something else when you try to create a stick figure as PFP.
