Rarity Function

We have created a rarity() function for the ZIM JavaScript Canvas Framework. It was added specifically for (fx)hash but can be used whenever odds are desired. We also have an odds() function that returns true if the percentage argument is met otherwise false but rarity() is great for a list of options.

Instead of imposing an entirely personal feeling on the canvas, I draw something out of the canvas with the tools of expressive abstraction and color contrast. The content of an abstract painting completely bypasses all those mental filters. Abstract painting is the revelation of the inner life of the human soul; it transforms from words to visual identity. The abstract painting speaks the language of the imaginary world, a language that struggles with complexities.

"Yarn Balls" is an artist-curated and physical-first collection: it is made of a limited set of 10 unique items that have a physical piece attached. The physical work is a 70 by 50 centimeters plotted work, made with an AxiDraw A1 plotter with a collection of colored sharpie pens on 128g/m2 paper. This is my first physical release of such a dimension and my true first "curated physical work". Each original piece is annotated on the back with its name, a date and a signature.
