Disrupted planet
"Disrupted planet" is a mesmerizing generative art piece that offers a unique perspective on the processes taking place in our universe.A planet or exoplanet destroyed by a nearby or passing star or other astronomical object. The result of such destruction may be the emergence of a large amount of gas, dust and other remnants of the planet,[3] which may surround the central star in the form of a circumstellar or residual disk. In this case, the rotating remnants of the planet can be an "irregular ring of dust", which creates irregular fluctuations in the apparent brightness of the central star and can lead to a flickering of the light curve; the radiation observed in the variable stars KIC 8462852, RZ Pisces, and WD 1145+017 has similar properties. Such stars may have an excess amount of infrared radiation,[4] which also supports the hypothesis of the presence of dust and remnants of a planetary body near the star.
