Uncrossed Paths

Many agents start at random locations in random directions (up, down, left or right). There is a small chance that they might turn at any frame. Also, there is a small chance of a new agent being born perpendicular to any agent.
The ultimate rule is, the paths must not be crossed. If an agent comes across its own or another agent’s path, it turns and moves on. If there is no way to go, the agent stops.
The maximum animation time is 22 sec, although most of the token gets completed around 15 sec.
These simple rules, paired with some chosen palettes can generate beautiful figures.

Variations:

1. The number of agents in a token is chosen from a list of 7 numbers: 100, 75, 60, 50, 42, 37 and 33. The size of agents also depends on this number. Larger the count of agents, smaller their size.
2. The chances of an agent turning and new agents being born are determined by the hash. Different percentages create different outputs.
3. 11 color palettes, all with equal chances. There is a 10% chance of a greyscale mint and 10% chance of a monochrome mint.

70 editions roughly means 7 monochrome, 7 greyscale and 5 mints of each palette.
