Hidden Message

The beauty of generative art is that the process is fully recorded. Art is not created through a 'magic hand', but rather a systematic formula that is reproducible. Although variability and randomness can be introduced, it is controlled and contained. The visibility of the process also sheds light to things that might not be visible in the final image outcome.

For example, in 'Hidden Message', a message is written behind the layer of threads. Although not visible, this can be verified as a fact by looking at the source code. This allows the creator to play with what is visible to the viewer and what's not, opening a new realm of artistic possibilities.
