Sentimentio’s genesis NFT collection centers around celebration.

Capped at just 31 editions, it’s a fusion of coding and data to generate artworks that reflect societal sentiments
towards the LGBTQ+ community and Pride Month over a three-year period.

Data collected from 100K online articles are transformed into artistic traits that express emotions and sentiments through shapes, color, and movement.

Sentiment score, ranging from -1 to +1, indicates whether the overall sentiment of articles is positive, negative, or neutral. Represented visually in the background, shades of white signify positive sentiment scores (0 to 1) whereas backgrounds with dark tones reflect negative sentiment scores (-1 to 0).

Emotions are key to our generative artworks.

The hue of the dots in the Pride Month Tribute NFT collection represents the following emotions.

-happiness: pink, yellow
-anger: red
-sadness: purple
-fear: blue
-surprise: green
-disgust: olive

Feelings can be more intense than others in the different time periods covered by our data. The more powerful a particular emotion, the more prominent that color will be in the artwork.

Other aspects such as the size of the dots or their movements are defined by the beautiful randomness of the code.
