Arcadia #5

City Decay! 🌱🕳☢️

Arcadia is a project where we work on the basis of a 3D world created from voxels with a 2D isometric rendering. The engine has been built using the p5.js library as the basis for many iterations of the project.

In this installment of the project, the simulation of a city in decline, destroyed by the passage of time, has been sought. Broken buildings, invasive plants and darkness have been the key elements of this edition.

The use of perlin noise has been introduced for the simulation of building destruction, as well as for the rusty metal of buildings. The number of created entities has been increased so that now the render is slower but it has a greater creation capacity. The recursive functions used in the previous installment of Arcadia have also been perfected.
