This piece combines several of my Genuary projects into one for #Genuary32. The main element from the maximalism prompt was based on the idea of semaphore flags, thus prompting the title of this project.
This also contains palettes from movie posters, grids inside grids inside grids, signed distance functions, black and white, and features of p5js I explored on the other days.
The composition of half circles in black and white contrast with recursive grids of rings or full circles of color.

Generative Art and Me: A Teacher's Journey with fxhash
By emwdx
I've spent the past year and a half learning about generative art by doing it myself. I've published a number of my own generative art projects on fxhash. I'm more convinced than ever that more teachers should be using generative art as a learning tool for themselves and their students. On top of this, fxhash is the perfect place for students to showcase their work and get experience in the blockchain world. Here's my story of getting into generative art, and my pitch for why fxhash should be in the portfolio of web3 learning platforms for young creatives.
