Maale-Witz

What lies unseen beneath the black ?

“Maale-Witz” by Antti Pussinen is a boolean conceptual generative NFT painting.

With colourful brush strokes, a painting is created. The algorithmic artist ponders for a bit and decides to take a more conceptual approach: The painting is painted over with black. What was before, still exist, but invisible.

“Maale-Witz” offers the viewer two options: either keep the expressionistic painting by clicking on the image within 4 seconds after painting has been finished or see the colours disappear giving the viewer the conceptual black square.

Features:
Number of brush strokes [90,120,150,180,210,240,270,300]
Colour spectrum width [Monochrome(4.9%),Narrow(27%),Mid(23%),Wide(32%,Very Wide(11,1%)

A visual only feature: If some colour remains visible from under the edge of black, the artwork can be considered rare.
