if god exists what does god do other than existing?

does god exist simply by being conceived in the mind?
it is well known that many people believe in a god or gods and some of those believe in a magical superbeing among other things.
it seems like god exists in some way.
furthermore the the belief in god affects those who believe as well as others for better or worse.

but what does it mean to exist???
