Victorian Turbation Set

"It's not true, but I believe it!": I am always surprised by that trait of human nature that makes people prefer to believe what best makes them feel good even if obviously false, be it a confirmation, a justification, a reassuring or a pleasant belief. Although the scientific method is an example of a remedy, scientific knowledge has often been shown to suffer from this epistemological problem.

Probably this behaviour gives some evolutionistic advantage, expecially to restricted groups of sapiens very busy in the harsh and boring task of fulfilling their stomaches every day. Are art, religion, politics and second hand cars a desirable effect of this?

"Victorian Turbation Set" generates table legs via a simple algorithm, a set of original textures and the 3D representation power of Threejs. No interactivity provided to leave your hands completely free. Watch it fulscreen for the best turbation.

Being a conceptual work I had no interest in complicating too much the design with style variations and accurate fidelity to the designs I've found in documentation phase.
