The kaleidoscopic pillars, once soaring emblems of the city's soul, had now succumbed to the relentless onslaught of time. Yet, as they crumbled and decayed, their colors remained steadfast, a radiant symphony of hues that defied the erosion of age. The people looked up at the pillars, and in their decline, they saw a reflection of their own trials and victories.
