A hybrid of Conway's Game of Life and Wolfram's cellular automata, and a continuation of my genesis piece. Each begins with two of 56 possible modes, and evolves further using a set of 512 modes. The animation runs until all cells die, then loops continuously from the start.
Press spacebar to pause, and s to save a .png of the canvas.
