This is a product of a lot of time learning the Hydra video synthesizer, and a need for a lot of interesting patterns for the "banner_day3" piece that is in active development. It also owes it's existence to just a huge amount of frustration with that project and I can't tell you how nice it is to have something complicated work the way it's intended.

This is entirely based on the difference in hues between each successive layer.

Some will appear almost completely static, some will oscillate..
