Minimal Surfaces #15
Project
Minimal surfaces, a gyroid in this case, are mathematical surfaces that minimize their area given a fixed perimeter. Because nature is all about 'being as efficient as possible' minimal surfaces aren't just theoretical, they show up in real life as well. Soap bubbles are an example of a minimal surface. In this set I explore the different looks you can get from the amazing Gyroid surface by looking at cross sections of the structure.

NOTE: this is completely procedural and while I do my best to shape the possibility space such that you get interesting and beautiful variety, it can happen that something 'broken' shows up. If you get a completely solid colored screen then shoot me a DM on twitter and I'll happily send you something else.
