Hash Smoke #2

Hash Smoke is an algorithm that generates drawings of smoke clouds. Hash smoke clouds, to be exact. It draws thousands of colorful, translucent circles that combine to form a sort of funky, puffy cloud.

The word “hash” in computer science is borrowed from cannabis culture. Hashish has been made for thousands of years by chopping up and pressing the tasty parts of cannabis plants into a potent goop that can be carried around and smoked for fun. Hash functions in computer science work the same way: they chop stuff up into unrecognizable goops so people can have more fun together.
