Pottery #11

The output of this project varies from very minimal (mask) to very maximal (overlay), so it's quite funny.

Despite the title, this project has the background as its main element. It is a graphic made up of bands of curves that create very intricate designs.
These backgrounds had been designed for another project, but were little used, especially the big variety of palettes that had been developed.
In this project backgrounds are used to color objects through masks or mixed with other overlapping graphics.
As a subject to be inserted above the backgrounds, I thought of bowls and pottery, which is something universal, used all over the world and in all eras, plus a simple geometric shape.

Very often, when I develop a project, it keeps branching out into possible other projects, whenever the output gets interesting enough, and it happens quite often, luckily. This then merges with all (too much) the inspiration I find in the community of developers and artists that I follow on various social networks.
When I review what I have done, I hardly find myself developing a single project.
All this to say that I don't know how much time I spent developing this project, as well as the others. Maybe I've been developing it since I started coding a bunch of years ago.

I like to keep the code I write open but I can't stand criticism on this: if you are familiar with programming, you will know that all code can be written better than it is already written.
Given this impossibility of perfection, I reject the very idea of perfection.

So just be excellent to each other.
