The book of tender is a book inspired in kintsugi, an ancient Japanese art technique based on repairing fractures from day-to-day objects, such as ceramics, using golden powder. The philosophy behind this practice, is that fractures and repairs are part of the history of an object. By evidencing them, an object can be perceived in its totality, in its history and transformation.

The book of tender is a book about caring where golden lines encounter the paper texture and in that process it showcases the beauty of healing and the fragility and power of transformation.
