Pataxó // City #1

Pataxó // City is an experimental art project that explores the intersection of technology and tradition. Using p5.js, the artist creates a unique experience blending the wildness of glitch art with the natural beauty of Brazilian Indigenous culture.

This edition features a digital composition depicting a young male, showcasing the beauty of the culture and its traditional practices through the lens of glitch art. The project also delves into the sacred symbolism of the triangle and diamond shapes, which are significant not only for Indigenous cultures, but also considered sacred geometry by other cultures. These drawings are known as "Kene" by the Huni Kuin tribe.

It's worth mentioning that the project aims to keep the cultural heritage alive and to raise awareness about the culture, its traditions, and its symbology. Keep an eye out for the next editions of the project, where the exploration of these themes will continue.

For those interested, the composition has a resolution of 1590x2494 and can be saved by right-clicking on it.
