by Burzak
Project
Krampus is a figure from Bavarian and South Tyrolean folklore who is said to accompany Saint Nicholas during the Christmas season, specifically on the evening of December 5th known as Krampusnacht. Krampus is often depicted as a horned, demonic creature that punishes children who have been bad during the year, in contrast to Saint Nicholas who rewards the good children with gifts.
