Ask The Mushroom #5

"Ask The Mushroom" is a praise to the mushrooms. A praise to spiritual exploration and discovery. A tribute to Terence McKenna, American author, ethnobotanist, lecturer, and a practicing shaman who advocated the responsible use of naturally occurring psychedelic plants.

"You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”

• Terence McKenna

Generative art made entirely with code in javascript / p5js + Cellular Automata, for infinite textures and structures with the purpose of capturing a glimpse of the immense diversity of mushrooms - a symbol of birth, survival, transformation, death, decay and rebirth.

There is a 50% chance of a monochrome iteration and a 50% chance of a reddish iteration.
