fx_dungeon(gold) #1

Welcome to the fx_dungeon(gold).

To obtain a copy of this cartridge, one must burn 10 editions of the original fx_dungeon. The benefits? This is only an edition of 10, and it's only available until May 13th 2022, 4pm Europe Central Time. After that date, unclaimed copies will be burned. This is a very rare, very limited reskin of the original game.

Since this is a special cartridge, it shows no signs of damage or usage and it comes in perfect mint conditions. It also offers more storage, and levels can be as big as 40x40 tiles compared to the 30x30 of the original game. That's almost double the tiles, if you do the math!

Additionally, the cartridge has been loaded with additional levels for a minimum of 4 (compared to the original 2) and a maximum of 9 (the original has a 7 levels cap).

If that wasn't enough, the whole texture pack has been overhauled: each sprite has been either re-done from scratch or improved from the first iteration of the game.

Controls

• Move the player around using WASD or the arrow keys. Interact with stairs using SPACEBAR or E
• Differently from the original game, you can toggle sound on or off using the P key

Credits

• I'm using p5js and I also tweaked to my needs a tutorial from Daniel Schiffman about raycasting
• The ambient music is from Joshua McLean, it's called Mountain Trials (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_OYo2RS8iU&list=PLwJjxqYuirCLkq42mGw4XKGQlpZSfxsYd&index=8) and it's released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license
