Petromyzonus #17

Petromyzonus is the next creation of my Protobyte series, exploring artificial life. The creature emerges bound to the earth, but breaks free, filling the sky with generative constellations. Petromyzonus yearns for creative, human interaction; they require it to fully express their true potential (as we all do.)

Interaction:

Mouse/Trackpad:
drag -> camera rotation
Mouse Rt Btn -> camera pan
scroll wheel/pinch -> camera zoom

Key Input:
{, }: reduce | increase X-axis wave amplitude
[, ]: reduce | increase Y-axis wave amplitude
<, >: reduce | increase X-axis wave frequency
,, .: reduce | increase Y-axis wave frequency
m, n: reduce | increase ground tether threshold
b, v: reduce | increase star tether threshold
1, 2: <<< | >>> star rotation direction/speed
3, 4: reduce | increase creature traveling speed
q, w: stop travel | start travel
z: reverse travel direction
p: screen capture

Tip:

1. Decreasing ground and/or star tether thresholds can make grown GPU’s cry.
2. There is a hidden feature that creates a lovely painterly effect.

Please post your favorite IP.001 screen captures
