Alta Silva #8

Travelling through deep forest,
Bright on a shadowy day of common line,
She shines with a quiet face:
Sat on the very bridle, and the pine,
Mix with a whisper in our earthly land,
Shone with the light of the prairie solitude;
The Poet, with the faithful night,
Dance the new poem of the air,
Each evening sees the drift;
A confidence save than thine.
