The fascination of pen plotting, handwriting and spirals

By greweb

The article introduces a collaboration between @greweb and Arthur Simony, titled "Plottable Spirals." This innovative project seamlessly blends the art of handwriting, generative art, and pen plotting to create spirals of words. Arthur Simony's handwritten letters are creatively transformed into code to generate unique curves of words. The chosen words are carefully selected to convey positive values, and they are randomly associated to form thematic spirals. The article also discusses the physical exhibition of premium plots in a Paris gallery and the availability of digital NFT versions on fx(hash). The project represents a fusion of organic handwriting and mathematical precision, challenging the boundaries of art and technology. It explores the beauty of spirals as an art form and the potential of pen plotting to automate handwriting.
