This article outlines a paradigm shift I experienced, catalyzed by insights from Tyler Hobbs' essay on color arrangement, which unlocked a deeper understanding of compositional control in generative art. I highlight some of the methods used in "Sentimento," and by sharing these methods and examples, I aim to inspire fellow artists, especially those new to generative art, to refine their craft and explore new paradigms in generative art.
