Cyanotype, Generatively. Article #0
By sspboyd
"Cyanotype, Generatively" will become a series of four articles that document the creative process of developing cyanotype prints based on the principles of generative art. What excites me about using cyanotype prints to 'render' generative drawings is the inherent irreproducibility of the process. Each print is a product of the time of day, cloudiness, variations in how much solution was applied to the watercolour paper among many other things. I hope the prints created here will be an organic analogue to the digital world we see on fxhash. Let's cross our fingers and find out!
