This work depicts the story of a boy who experienced difficulty getting clean water in the area where he lives. He was overjoyed when he found clean water to drink, that it tasted like blood to his flesh. People will quickly think of areas in remote villages or North Africa when hearing of water-scarce areas. But Kayan, the boy's name, lives in Jakarta Utara. And yes, Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia. There had been a heatwave hitting the country recently. How miserable Kayan and his family who were also experiencing water shortages. Even water supply from the water company had stopped coming to the area. There were times when Kayan couldn't take a bath and didn't drink after eating, in his mind, to save water. He replaced it by just sucking on candy.
