Fluidic Textures

An exploration of texture synthesis.

Textural building blocks are constructed by running a fluid simulation model, with various visualization methods based on the pressure and velocity maps.

Drawing takes a few minutes to reach the final state. The texture elements evolve over time as the fluidic simulation progresses.
