Context-Free Wind is a poetry generator and visualizer created by Ross Goodwin (https://rossgoodwin.com) in vanilla JavaScript without the use of any framework or external libraries, excluding code required by fxhash. The generator uses a custom context-free grammar algorithm and word lists assembled by the creator to produce (...admittedly, fairly strange...) sentences.

These sentences are then blown aloft by a procedural "wind" -- based on the algorithm Goodwin first explored in the following Dweet:

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Ross Goodwin is an artist, creative technologist, and former White House ghostwriter. He employs machine learning, natural language processing, and other computational tools to realize new forms and interfaces for written language. From word.camera, a camera that expressively narrates its photographs in real time using artificial neural networks, to SUNSPRING (with Oscar Sharp, starring Thomas Middleditch), the world's first film created from an AI-written screenplay; from making London’s Trafalgar Square lions roar poetry (“Please Feed The Lions” with Es Devlin), to writing a novel with a car (1 the Road), Goodwin’s projects and collaborations have earned international attention. Winner of the 2018 IDFA DocLab Award for Digital Storytelling as well as Columbia University's Digital Dozen Breakthroughs in Storytelling Award for 2019, he earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from MIT in 2009, and his graduate degree from NYU ITP in May 2016.

Logically, this plane of the book enters on this fool of that angel. Consequently, this partition comes above this bridge of that record. This motorcycle that struggles unconsciously refutes that toast that bleeds logically. Accordingly, this cigarette through the collar at this hand of the slum embodies the porcelain toast. Oh my, that motel of the dungeon prepares on this question w/r/t that imagination of that bullshit. This eye of that light comes to that heaven. Oh, the alcohol of that poverty stands about the ecstasy. This hell of this heroine leaves. That filth talks. This mortgage over that thought that smoulders politely stands in the machinery. Logically, this building beneath the soul that sings prepares. That platonic intoxication prepares against this reality at this restless madness. This particle that crafts that motorcycle to this bath flies quickly. That unknown grave madly regrets this plane that invents the building that artificially fears this partition that sleeps. Goddamn, this room of the jazz bristles unconsciously. This mesiah over the notorious island reasonably throws that peninsula. That time that lives uncontrollably peaks about that motorcycle of this spoon. Accordingly, that labyrinth over this god sells that hell of the word. That air that terrifies that machinery that drowns indirectly fails in the air. The nightmare of that baboon skips politely. However, the epic river blossoms.
