Humans and Nature is a piece I created, envisioning a depiction of nature in the language of mathematics, curves from higher dimensional spaces. Nature in this sense is not just the outdoors, but the whole of the universe from the trees and forests, outdoors, to the air itself, the aerodynamic flows of the wind, the radiation from the sun, the curvature of space under gravitational influence. The people wander through this space optimizing for life and growth, for community and family, or looking at the world from the outside, depicted in this work as hand painted spheres.

This artwork explores the complex and often indescribable emotions that we experience as human beings. Through the use of abstract, colorful forms, the artist captures the essence of a feeling that is both trapped and safe. The artist intends to express this emotion in its raw, inexplicable form, without resorting to figurative representation. In doing so, the artist deliberately emphasizes the "imperfections" in the artwork, such as crooked circles and lines, as a way of highlighting the unique qualities that make us human. The use of these techniques challenges the dominant focus on mathematical precision in the medium and instead celebrates the beauty of failure and the quirks that make us who we are. Overall, this work is a thought-provoking exploration of the human experience and the emotions that shape our lives.
